We didn't even have a chance to change... she ran right in and started splashing like crazy. We had a water fight right there in our clothes right in front of all the conservative business executives meeting for drinks and dinner. The pool was located on the rooftop of the Merridean in Pune, a literal palace in the middle of one of the most desolate, poverty stricken areas I've ever seen. The pool surrounded by candlelit dinner tables was a setting for the elite of India. The looks we got, my oh my... but my mother and I laughed and let her run wild in the water and ignored what others thought. Hey, we were staying there at the hotel we could do what we liked... and this little girl deserved to have some fun! And so she did... of course, the business men sitting near the edge of the pool weren't initially happy when they themselves got caught in our splashing but I do believe one cracked a smile before we left
