Thank you so much, Ellis... I have been overwhelmed by life these past few months and had let the blog go. I just signed on and found over 200 comments waiting for me and I will work to sort through them in the next few days. Your kind note touched me to tears and sent me the message I needed to hear, that I need to keep writing. Thank you so much, for taking the time to reach out to us... Please let us know how your process is proceeding, we'll want to hear updates and I'll be here to help you one on one if you want to reach out directly
Hi, I just came across your blog - only to discover we are neighbors! I live in Quincy. My husband and I are just beginning to explore the reality of adoption from India, and I've been trying to settle on an agency. If you have time I would be grateful to hear what agency you used, why you chose them, and how the experience was for you. Thanks, Laura

Hi,

This is such a beautiful post. Mothers go thru a lot to become a mother. There were days when I felt bad about the relationship with my mother. in the recent past I forgave myself and my relationship with my mother became lot more better. Thanks for sharing this story.

Dear Lisa Schiller,
I am so touched by your blog and "you and your daughter" inspire me in our adoption journey. I'm American and we live in Germany. Today we had our first meeting with the German system here towards adopting from India. I know it will be a long, perhaps difficult journey in our lives, but for sure the most important one.... The honesty you have about your experiences including fears and difficulties during and after adoption has been most helpful to read. I wonder if you would be open to answer a few technical questions on the adoption process itself. If you have any time. I am reachable at didemnyc@yahoo.com. Hope this is okay to ask...
